Follow Me

Remember, you have His strength for all things that come against you.

I remember reading this chapter as a young child and feeling confused as to what it meant. I remember reading this chapter as a teenager and not understanding what it was really trying to say; it sounded like one of many nursery rhymes from childhood. I remember reading this chapter as an adult and I began to see the wisdom woven within It’s simple lines, what was it really trying to teach me. I read this chapter today, as I have many times in recent years, and I have realized it Is far from simple. It is filled with wisdom, encouragement, words of comfort, seeds of hope, and the Love of God for us. It is as complex or as simple as our life, our heart, and our soul are ready to embrace.

I am reminded every day how much greater He is than me....Thank God

Psalm of David
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
